Healthy Marathon Moms

Inspiring and empowering mothers to achieve a healthy balanced life.
All too often we put our own personal health and well-being aside as we try to juggle the needs of our families, job responsibilities and other commitments.  Each one of us has different circumstances that dictate our day-to-day lives.  The one thing that we all have in common is that each of us is continuing on this marathon journey through motherhood.  We all will encounter, at some point, bumps along the road, but it is one of the most rewarding experiences of life.  It is my hope that you will find the inspiration within this site that will give you the strength to take charge of your own health so we all can be the best Healthy Marathon Moms we can be!

I am the proud mother of three wonderful children and a loving wife to a very supportive husband.  I am a Certified Nutrition and Wellness Specialist, hold a B.Sc. in Biology, have a strong interest in the Nutritional Sciences and I am a running clinic instructor.  I have always been committed to my own personal health and wellness and that of my family and now I want to share that with other mothers running the same marathon that I am.  Along with being physically active (and especially loving running), I am a big advocate of promoting plant based, whole food nutrition to assist in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
